Success Stories

The successes of Infoquest have been numerous. Just read some of our testimonials.

Emily of Petaluma, CA. contacted us to see if we could locate an old friend of her boyfriend’s. She wanted to surprise him for his birthday, as he had many times mentioned his old buddy, and wanted to know how he was. He and Jimmy had grown up in South Africa, attended school in Luanshya, Northern Zambia, and their fathers had worked the mines of South Africa together. He had not seen Jimmy since 1947.

She knew Jimmy’s last name, and his month and year of birth. She also knew that he went to Secondary Schools in Baltimore, but they were under the impression he may be still on the East Coast. We ran a study by name and age range, and found nearly 30 possibilities, but the investigator set his eyes on a fellow in Saratoga, CA (Less than 100 miles away) and contacted him. It was the right person, and he was very excited to find out his old friend remembered him. Emily was notified of the find, and she called back one month later to tell of their reunion. She said they were both like young boys again, and were happy to find out they were so close and could get together often.

Fifty-two years had passed since Ora Clark last laid eyes on Barbara Gardner. In the summer of 1945, Clark of Seattle, received a "Dear John" letter from his girl "Bobbie". He never spoke to her again.

That all changed a few months ago when he contacted INFOQUEST, a national business based in Sandpoint that specializes in finding people.

"It was rather comical when I called INFOQUEST," Clark said. "I told them all I had was a name and an address that was 52 years old." That was no problem for the people-finding company.

"We found 20 people with that same last name in Missouri where she had been living 50 years ago," said Michael Prophet, owner of the company. "We talked to four or five people and found that she was now living in Michigan City, Indiana."

We called Ora back and he was just as nervous as a school boy.

According to Richard Adams of Vacaville,CA, $125. was worth spending to find some old friends. During the Vietnam War, a friend was killed in combat. He accompanied the body back to the U.S. and got to know the man's wife and children. Over time, however, they lost touch. Prophet and his staff were able to reunite the friends.

"INFOQUEST was back home in three days with good news," Adams said. "They were fantastic."
